What can X-rays help assess?

X-rays can provide useful information about bones and joints, the shape and size of certain organs, and some abnormalities within the chest and abdomen. However, not every condition can be confirmed by X-ray alone.

For example, some urinary stones may not be radiopaque, and patellar luxation also requires physical examination and veterinary assessment.
