Bringing Your Pet to Their First Check-up — What to Prepare
From vaccination records to a favorite toy — a checklist to help both you and your pet feel grounded on clinic day.

Before clinic day
A first vet visit can feel stressful for both your pet and you. A bit of preparation goes a long way toward making the day feel calm.
What to bring
- Vaccination records — old paper booklets or app entries both work
- Medical history from any previous clinic
- Your ID for first-visit registration
What helps your pet settle
A favorite toy, a blanket that smells like home, or treats they love. Small things like these build familiarity in a new place faster than you'd expect.
On the day
Arrive 10–15 minutes early so your pet can adjust to the space before any examination begins. Our nurses use Fear-Free techniques to ease your pet into the exam room — slow introductions before any handling.
What happens in the exam
- A conversation with you about your pet's history and behavior
- A wellness check — heart, mouth, ears, eyes
- Weight and temperature
- Aftercare guidance appropriate to age and condition
After you go home
Keep an eye on your pet for the first 24 hours. Anything feels off, message us on LINE — we're here every day, 09:00–21:00.
